Terms of Service

By using saklama.com, you agree to the terms below. Please read this page carefully before using the service.

Scope of the service

saklama.com offers an end-to-end encrypted, self-destructing note sharing tool (Secret Note) together with informational storage guide articles in Turkish (the Saklama Rehberi). The service is free and requires no account.

The service is provided "as is"

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". No warranty, express or implied, is given that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Guide content is for general information only; it is not a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, food safety, etc.).

Prohibited uses

The following are strictly prohibited when using the service:

  • Sharing, or facilitating the sharing of, content that constitutes a criminal offense under applicable law,
  • Transmitting content involving threats, blackmail, defamation, fraud, or violations of personal rights,
  • Distributing malware, phishing links, or similar harmful content,
  • Making automated, excessive, or malicious requests that could harm the service's infrastructure.

Because note contents are end-to-end encrypted, we cannot view them; this does not, however, remove the user's legal responsibility for the content they share. The user who creates and shares the content is solely responsible for it.

One-time notes cannot be recovered

Notes created with the Secret Note tool are permanently deleted once read or when their lifetime expires. No copies of deleted notes are kept, and recovering them is technically impossible. If you lose the link, the note cannot be accessed either; since the encryption key is never on our servers, we have no way to help. Backing up important information is the user's responsibility.

Right to restrict access

If we detect abuse of the service, we reserve the right to take the necessary technical and legal measures, including blocking the relevant requests and restricting access temporarily or permanently.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, saklama.com cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service; from the deletion of notes; from lost links; or from decisions made in reliance on guide content.

Right to modify

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The current version is always published on this page; continuing to use the service means you accept the current terms.
