Share Encrypted, Self-Destructing Notes
Your note is end-to-end encrypted before it ever leaves your browser. The decryption key is never sent to the server — not even we can read what you write.
- End-to-end encrypted (AES-256)
- The key stays in your browser
- No account required
Your link is ready
Share this link over a secure channel. If it's one-time, it will be destroyed after the first person opens it.
How it works
Secure sharing in three steps — no technical knowledge needed.
Encrypt
Your note is encrypted with AES-256 before it ever leaves your browser. The decryption key lives only in the # part of the generated link and is never sent to the server.
Share
Send the generated link to your recipient over a channel you trust. Nobody without the complete link — us included — can read the note.
Self-Destruct
One-time notes are permanently deleted from the server the first time they are viewed. All other notes vanish automatically once the lifetime you chose runs out.
Frequently asked questions about security
Is the encryption key ever sent to the server?
No. The key travels in the # (fragment) part of the link, which browsers never send to the server. Our servers only ever store the encrypted text — and without the key, it cannot be decrypted.
Who can read my note?
Only people who have the complete link, key included. Server administrators, the hosting provider, and any third parties cannot read your content; all they hold is meaningless encrypted data.
How long are notes kept?
When you create a note, you choose a lifetime between 1 hour and 30 days. Once that time is up, the note is automatically deleted from the server. One-time notes are permanently destroyed the moment they are first viewed, even if their time has not run out.
Why should I trust this tool?
Encryption happens entirely in your browser using the standard WebCrypto API (AES-GCM 256-bit). You can inspect the page's source code in your browser's developer tools and confirm in the network tab that only encrypted data ever leaves your device.
